Car company pushes employee volunteering
Seoul, South Korea: good labor direction and corporate transparency, cooperation with other companies, developing environmentally friendly vehicles and portion the poor and disabled are among the list of enterprise Hyundai-Kia Automotive Group representatives announced yesterday.
The proclamation was the end consequence of the group¡¯s conference on corporate social duty, or CSR. Executive director signed an understanding to create a CSR commission headed by president Chung Mong-koo.
Hyundai representatives also announced that the company will strengthen its internship program to include more campaigner. Hyundai will also create a ¡°Happy Move¡± youth military volunteer group. The company will select around 1,000 young person every year and send them oversea to help the international community.
Five Hyundai Group subordinate, including Hyundai Motor, Kia Motors, Hyundai Mobis, Hyundai Steel and Hyundai Hysco, were involved in creating this new commission. The CSR program's 2 trillion won ($2.1 one million million) budget to carry out its programme came from its own caisson. "As a lead Korean company, we recognize our duty to aid in the improvement of the hereafter and give back to society," the company said through a signed agreement.
